The Curriculum

Samrock Stables Not So Ordinary Farm offers a unique homeschool program that allows students hands on learning opportunities all designed with socialization at the core. Students will engage in different lessons surrounding the basics of the care of each animal and the upkeep of the farm. They will not only learn about each animal, but they will also participate hands-on activities with each animal through fun lessons such as grooming, feeding, horseback riding, and many more.

Winter Semester

Classes gather once weekly, on the same day every week, and run from 10am-3pm. We offer options for both individual families looking to collect with other families, and separate days for larger groups or pods. We are located in Farmingdale, NJ and students will need transportation to and from class each week.

The 11 week Winter Semester begins the week of January 8th and ends the week of March 22nd. We currently offer classes on Tuesday & Friday and may have availability on other days if there are scheduling conflicts. To book a larger group please contact us directly.

Ages and Rates

Our program is open to ages 4-14 years old. The 11 week semester is priced at $649/ child and must be paid in full; payment plans are available on an individual basis; please contact us after registration to set up a payment plan. The cost of the semester includes all riding equipment, curriculum, and classroom supplies. We fill classes based on minimum number of seats. If your child is enrolled another may not have a seat in doing this we are not able to offer refunds. We cannot fill your child's seat midway through the semester. This is why we ask for payment in full. Please Note if you request a payment plan you will still be obligated to pay for the semester in full. We are very flexible with makeup and/or credit towards other farm activities.
