A day at The Farm

Awesome Crafts

Awesome Crafts

Crafts at Farm Camp are all about nature and animals. So campers will be able to express their creativity while learning loads of fun things about the environment and all the fun critters who inhabit it.

Fun Games and Activities

Fun Games and Activities

Sitting around all day for the past couple of months must have been boring and left kids with so much energy that they are ready to explode. That's why at Farm Camp, campers can enjoy the outdoors and do fun things with new friends.

Exciting Lessons about Animals

Exciting Lessons about Animals

Campers will learn all about the animals we have on the farm, whether it be the anatomy of a goat or the different tacking equipment, Farm Camp is an amazing opportunity for kids to learn about what it takes to own animals and run a farm.

Western Horsemanship

Western Horsemanship

Campers will be immersed in Western Horsemanship this summer at Farm Camp. From grooming and tacking to barrel racing and trailblazing, Campers will learn a myriad of techniques from people who have been surrounded by horses for the majority of their lives. At farm camp, we hope to see Campers fall in love with horses the same way we did.

Priceless Time with the Animals

Priceless Time with the Animals

What would Farm Camp be without animals? Every day campers will spend time with the animals and learn the ins and outs of what it takes to own and care for animals. Farm Camp has a focus on horses, but Campers will learn and discuss all the animals that can be found on a farm and even get to meet some of them!

Memories and Friendships to Last a Lifetime

Memories and Friendships to Last a Lifetime

At Farm Camp, we hope to provide our campers with the opportunity to create memories and friendships that they will carry with them throughout their lives.

Necessary Program Forms

Getting ready for the farm: What to bring & More!

Getting ready for the Farm: What to bring and more!
Drop off and pick up:
● The program runs 10am to 3pm, so we ask that campers are dropped off at or
a little before 10am, and they will need to be picked up at 3pm. Please be sure
to communicate with us if you are running late or run into any difficulties.
Payment information:
● Deposit of $200 is due at time of registration and payment for camp is due in
full prior to campers first day of camp. All payments are non-refundable.
● We accept Venmo (@samrockstables), Paypal (@angelandjules), Cash, or
check. Please indicate in your payment which child/children you are paying
for & how many weeks.
Lunch and water:
● Please send campers with lunch each day that they will be attending. We ask
that you do not send any products that contain or may contain peanuts or
tree-nuts including PB&J sandwiches for lunch to keep our campers with
allergies safe, unless you are sure your group does not have any nut allergies.
● A large refillable water bottle should be sent with your camper every day; we
have water refill stations available.
Clothing:
We recommend sending campers with a change of clothes daily so that they do
not have to stay in their long riding pants all day long. Please send your child with
a hat and plenty of sunscreen!
● Riding: Campers should wear long pants, including jeans, riding pants,
leggings, or britches. No baggy pants, pajama pants, or shorts are
allowed. T-shirts are recommended. Shoes should be riding boots or
boots with a one-inch heel. If campers have their own riding helmets,
they are encouraged to bring them, if not bike helmets are acceptable
and we have a few helmets for camper use. If a camper does not have the
proper clothing, they will not ride.
● Non-Riding Activities: Shorts and t-shirts are fine, but closed-toed
shoes are required. No flip flops, sandals, or crocs.
Medications:
● Please alert us of any medical conditions your child has and if they need
medications. It is preferable that your child’s medication is administered at home if possible, but if your child needs medication administered
throughout the day please contact us to make special arrangements.
● Please send your child with EpiPens, rescue inhalers, or any other
emergency medications; these emergency medications will be checked
into the nurses station each morning and returned to the child at the end
of the day
